There is no question that cell phones, which theoretically make you available to that “special someone” any time, any where, have put a severe dent in the lifestyle of the “playa.” But if you are a “playa” who has been struggling to discreetly manage multiple relationships in the cellular age, fret no more! Apparently (see below) the guys at Android Playa have developed an application to help you juggle your…umm “contacts.” Simply put your phone in “playa mode,” tell the software which “contact” you are currently with, and Android Playa (which fortunately runs undetectably to the casual observer) will mask incoming phone calls, texts and sensitive contacts which could potentially cause you trouble. There is also an optional mapping feature which will help you to steer clear of any unfortunate chance meetings with any of your other “contacts.” While I am honestly not 100% certain that this software is even real, the website does offer a sign up for beta testing. I am certain however that if this website is a joke and this application doesn’t exist, that it won’t be very long before it does. If any one put there signs up for the beta… let me know! |
