According to Mark Wilson, of Gizmodo, the much rumored Google branded Android Phone “Is a certainty.” According to Wilson, an unnamed “trusted source” has seen a working prototype with his own eyes.

The Google phone will reportedly feature a new, previously unreleased version of Android, which Wilson speculates may be an iteration which relies heavily on the existing Google Voice service.

Rumors of Google’s pending release of branded smart phone have persisted since the beginning of Google’s acquisition of Android.
